Its been a good journey so far experiencing actual development work, albeit i still have many things to pick up. But with all beginnings there is always an end, it was announced sooner than expeted but I can't blame the company. It was just a bad timing, like how I left my stable job to try being a developer right smack in the middle of the pandemic.

Originally the runway for the company was to ride out COVID till September, but due to the uncertanties and the lockdown still happening all over and with more variants now. It doesn't seem to bright right now even if Singapore opens up many countries are still fighting the battle, thus the company decided to fold early so that they can have a longer runway to outlast the pandemic situation.

Closing the entire Singapore office, means that everyone working in Singapore will be made redundant. Well it was great while it last, and I'm happy that I was given the opportunity to learn so many things. Hopefully I will be able to find a new job in the coming weeks ahead...
